My Neighbor's Stuff opened its doors during this devastating period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, we were looking for retail/warehouse space in the Lithonia area until we noticed that people were flocking to the web at unprecedented levels to order goods. The high rate of local permanent store closures ramped up, which lead to a deepened crisis, which also affected our regional malls.

The pandemic has forced us to work remotely,  to rethink the brick-and-mortar physical store model's role and redefine our business model. My Neighbor's Stuff is positioning itself to survive and thrive in this new era of e-commerce retailing. We implemented cost-effective ways to better serve our customers faster by leasing mini-warehouses closer to the neighborhoods we serve. We added features like free local pick-up for our consignors, local delivery options for our buyers, and two-day global shipping to meet our customers' demands.
